Cutting the red ribbon

Hallelujah! I got round to the long awaited blog that I’ve been promising you all I’d do for ages now. As most of you know I’m relatively new to this internet thing so it’s taken me a fair bit to figure out how to do this right. I have a group of web friendly mates who’ve helped me get this going and I’m certain once I’ve done it a few times I’ll be able to keep it going by myself! Until then however I’m gonna have to rely on my knowledgable web geeks!

So why not just use a social networking site like everybody else? Well, for one thing, if you know me you’llknow I’m not like those other sheep. And for another, I’m not a fan of social networking! I don’t want you to know all the gory details of my life and I’m sure you don’t want to know everything anyway! Yes, a blog can tell you a certain amount about myself, but only as far as I feel it necesary. I want to be able to express myself but not by letting you know if I’m still goin out with so and so or not (we split up last week by the way). Also, I want this blog to be exclusively for people I like and actually WANT to stay in touch with. Not old colleagues I’ve managed thus far to escape.

With any luck, you sir/madam reading this are a trusted friend. So let me know what you think.

Ta ta!
