Nick Griffin is in a difficult place, his anti-immigration agenda has been co-opted by both the labour and conservative party and the far right are too busy taking to the streets and holding rallies to care so much about electoral politics. Should Nick Griffin get to see the Queen? Should I care?
The two things that come to mind is that you have to believe that the monarchy itself has a certain amount of moral authority for it to make a difference whether a racist individual gets ’a lovely afternoon'and that it is a desperate and cynical ploy to get back into the news and maybe I shouldn’t really be giving him the time of day. I should care because in this time of austerity, they should clearly cancel the garden party and donate all of the money to pay for kids living in poverty to go swimming for free.
It is absolutely disgusting how they are living and there is no justification for it what so ever. The monarchy is corrupt because they are not taking a moral stand in any way shape or form. They think they can sustain themselves by being a governmental Switzerland, but history has shown the culpability of those that claim to be politically neutral. What shocks me the most is that Nick Griffin with his Cambridge education has no intelligent understanding of the history of the British Empire and how every person who lives on this small island benefits from the empire’s raping of global resources or so eloquently put “we are here because you were there”.
If it is a ploy to get more news coverage, it is really bad manners. Nick is desperate to erase the image of the Bob Bailey from the BNP kicking an Asian lad in the head and hopes that his wife putting on a hat, getting bikini laser hair removal, and drinking tea at the palace, will do just that.
